January Art in the Park
Now celebrating 56 years as Naples’ oldest art fair, Art in the Park features Naples Art Association members showcasing a variety of original paintings, photographs, unique décor, wearables, collectibles and gifts. Nestled on Park Street just to the west of The von Liebig Art Center, this juried art fair is held the first Saturday of the month November through April. Each art fair features hands-on-art experiences and live demonstrations from skilled artists. Sponsored by Costco, WGCU Public Media, Naples Daily News, Florida Weekly and Happenings Arts and Entertainment Magazine. Free admission. The Naples Art Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 1954 by local artists. Its mission is to educate and promote visual arts in Southwest Florida. Through its programs, the Naples Art Association is dedicated to serving individual artists of all ages and skill levels, along their creative journeys. Patrons and visitors are inspired to learn, discover and create. Today, the organization includes more than 1,000 members and operates The von Liebig Art Center, located at 585 Park Street in downtown Naples. The art center is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays in season.
