Skin cancer is the most common form of all cancers and one out of five people will be affected in their lifetime. Riverchase Dermatology will offer new patients a free skin cancer screening on November 3, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at their newly-opened office, 14840 Tamiami Trail, North Port FL 34287. New patients to the practice are required to make an appointment by calling (941) 564-1542 and will be seen on the day of the screening, free of charge. Care providers will provide recommendations for patients based on the free evaluations. Dr. Ryan S. Jawitz, of Bradenton, will staff Riverchase’s new location in North Port Commons. He specializes in general dermatology, Mohs surgery and cosmetic rejuvenation.
