WHAT: On Saturday, July 21, the legendary George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic will headline Seminole Casino Immokalee’s “Fantasy of Funk” outdoor music festival. The originators of funk will be joined by funk/gospel/R&B act Glen David Andrews Band, New Orleans brass funk rockers Bonerama, R&B/Blues band The Nouveaux Honkies and disco group Boogie Freaks. Ten gourmet food trucks will serve up savory treats throughout the festival. The day of funk kicks off with a free party in the casino’s Zig Zag Lounge on Friday, July 20. There will be zany games with funky prizes. Event-goers will also groove to live music by The Nouveaux Honkies and Boogie Freaks.
