The Fort Myers Home Instead Senior Care office is offering a unique approach to help area families manage the challenges of Alzheimer’s and other dementias. CARE is a wonderful hands-on approach that helps caregivers deal with the behavioral changes that too often accompany these disorders. The program for family caregivers consists of four sessions - available to anyone in the community. Through this program, we focus on care and compassion rather than a cure. Our CAREGivers use a variety of proven techniques to help manage behaviors, encourage engagement and give seniors with Alzheimer’s an opportunity to live fulfilling lives.
