The Naples Concert Band (NCB), under the direction Harris Lanzel, kicks off the New Year with its first concert of 2012 on Sunday, January 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cambier Park Band Shell in Naples. The concert will feature vocalist Craig Greusel, percussionist Jym Moore and the NCB Saxophone Ensemble. Jym Moore will be highlighted in a special marimba solo entitled “El Relicario”, and the NCB Saxophone Ensemble will be front and center in Jack Bullock’s “Five to Go”. The highlight of the afternoon will be the exciting voice of Craig Greusel. Greusel will perform his vocal magic in two production numbers; “Man of La Mancha” and “The Wizard of Oz”. Several spirited marches and a variety of exciting concert band arrangements complete the afternoon program. Guests are encouraged to arrive early with lawn chairs and blankets for seating. Admission is free, with donations appreciated. Donations received at each concert go toward student scholarships, which are awarded each year to deserving student members of the band. The Naples Concert Band is a non-profit organization dedicated to entertaining the community with old-fashioned concerts in the park. The Band is currently in its 40th season offering free concerts to the Southwest Florida community. For more information, contact the Naples Concert Band Hotline: 239.263.9521 or visit
