What are you doing New Years Eve? Before you begin celebrating the New Year, start the day off right with a 5 K run or walk along the beach. The Fort Myers Beach Kiwanis Club will once again sponsor the Ferd Houser Fun Run on Saturday, December 31 at 8:00 AM. Registration will begin at 7:30 AM in the Junkanoos south parking lot (3040 Estero Blvd). The event will be held on the beach with a start time of 8:00 for the runners and 8:05 for the walkers. Registration fee is $5.00 which includes a t-shirt for the first 200 registrants. Refreshments will be available after the event. Trophies will be awarded in each age group for runners and walkers.
