Following a devastating fire at the Greater Naples YMCA facility located at 5450 YMCA Road, plans are in place to transition programs to several locations throughout Collier County.

The Gaynor Child Care Center and Veterans Memorial locations are currently open. The YMCA Tennis Center Complex is also open for member use.

Alternate locations have been secured for fitness, swimming and group exercise programs at the Greater Family Marco YMCA, Bonita Springs YMCA, NCH Wellness Centers, North Collier Regional Park, Golden Gate Aquatic and Fitness Complex, and Norris Aquatics Center.

The Y Afterschool Program will continue offering Afterschool Programming at the Osceola Elementary School. Buses will pick up students at their regular route locations. Parents can pick up students at Osceola.

“We are working tirelessly to find alternative options for our members and are thankful for the support of the community and local businesses during this time,” said Paul Thein, president and CEO of the Greater Naples YMCA. “We also want to give a special thank you to the dedicated team of firefighters who helped put out the fire and ensured that no one was seriously injured.”
