Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by. I'm a Rochester, NY native but spent the latter part of my childhood in Arkansas. I joined Fox 4 in December of 2015 as chief meteorologist. Prior to working here I was chief meteorologist at WPMI-TV Local 15 in Mobile, AL for 6 years. I've also worked as morning and chief meteorologist at WLWT-TV News 5 in Cincinnati, OH, weekend meteorologist at KHBS/KHOG-TV in Ft. Smith, AR and meteorologist at WCBI-TV in Columbus, MS.
I received my B.S. in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma and a M.S. degree in Geosciences from Mississippi State University. I hold the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal from the American Meteorological Society and the Seal of Approval for Television from the National Weather Association. I am also a storm chaser, with many years of experience chasing tornadoes and winter storms in the Great Plains and Southern U.S. and hurricanes on the Gulf Coast and Atlantic. I've witnessed several historic storms including Hurricanes Katrina, Ivan, Isabel and Irene. It is my strong interest in tropical weather and hurricanes that has kept me on the Gulf Coast.
In my spare time you'll find me at the piano, under the hood of my car or spending time with my wife, Lauren and son, Xaiden. It is a pleasure be in southwest Florida. Be sure to tune in Monday through Friday at 6, 10 and 11 for the latest forecast. If you see me out and about around town, don’t hesitate to say hi!
