Some say I have fearless appetite to try anything - I get that from my late grandmother (Nano)! Before moving to Southwest Florida, I was a feature reporter for KHOU 11 News in Houston, TX (I got a pie in the face from a circus clown on live TV!) and I was a reporter/producer for KHOU’s talk show, “Great Day Houston” where I not only covered community events, but I launched the “Pack Your Bag Challenge,” an on-going, weekly game show segment now in its fourth season.
I’ve been on the hard news side, too. While at WXMI/FOX 17 in West Michigan, my extensive coverage of the “Baby Kate” disappearance and trial in Ludington was featured on the “Dr. Phil Show.”
But I haven’t always worked in local TV. In fact, I spent nearly a decade living in Las Vegas and Los Angeles working in many different aspects of entertainment: from hosting “Inside Poker” on FOX Sports Net to performing as an aerial-acrobat and dancer on the famous Las Vegas Strip; from contributing to KTNV News as a fashion expert to interviewing celebrities on the red carpet as a producer for “E! News.” I also spent a year in Tokyo, Japan as the aerial “Ariel” The Little Mermaid in a live action show at Tokyo Disney Sea.
On a personal note, I’m always testing the next big beauty or makeup product and when I’m not working, you can usually find me cheering for my alma mater, Michigan State University (I love Tom Izzo!!), shopping at the nearest shoe sale or hanging out with my chihuahuas.

"Those who dance are considered insane by those who can't hear the music."
