People in Cape Coral are still talking about that police officer who abused her power - by harassing her ex-boyfriend's new lover (while she was on the job).
That officer, Georgeann Lytle, got demoted and suspended for it, but many of you don't think that was enough.
If you take a look at the video of this story, you'll see what Officer Lytle looks like for the first time.
Many of you had no problem sounding off about her punishment. You sent us emails, and apparently, Mayor Sullivan got a bunch of complaints.
That's why Sullivan, The New City Manager Gary King, and Acting Police Chief Jay Murphy had a meeting about Officer Lytle.
In the end, they all decided that the punishment was severe enough.
Officer Lytle will be on desk duty until she completes a performance improvement plan -- but she'll still carry a gun, and eventually could be put back out on patrol duty.
The woman Officer Lytle admitted to harassing -- is a bartender at Backstreets.
She tells us, she's terrified of Lytle - and doesn't understand why she's able to keep her job. Especially with Lytle's history of breaking the rules on the job.
