Fort Myers - Cats and kittens strutted their stuff in the annual cat show in Fort Myers Sunday.
Twenty-five different breeds competed, giving the judges quite a task picking a winner. Cat owners say celebrating their feline friends is more important than winning.
"It's a very entertaining thing to do," said Molly Ball, while holding her cat Sir Lancelot. "And if you want to bring a family to a cat show it's a whole let less money than going to a movie and we think a lot more fun."
Last year's cat show was canceled because the economy was so bad. This year organizers with the Cat Fanciers' Association say more than a thousand people showed up.
