WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A Delray Beach man has been charged with DUI manslaughter in a West Palm Beach crash that left an infant dead and several others injured.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office reports that 30-year-old Jason Frayne Brown rear-ended a van Saturday afternoon, pushing the rear of the van into the middle row of seats and killing 3-month-old Yanley Gonzalez. Brown's car then hit another car.
Two adults and two children from the other vehicles were hospitalized. Brown was picked up three blocks from the crash and taken to a hospital.
Brown was charged Sunday with DUI manslaughter, two counts of DUI with serious injuries, one count of failing to render aid and one count of hit and run in a fatal crash. He was being held on $250,000 bail.
