New hope tonight on uncovering a ten year old mystery.
Investigators got a tip that four year old Pilar Rodriguez's body - or clues that could lead to it - could be in a Punta Gorda field. It was the last place anybody saw the toddler.
Her babysitter's boyfriend, Keith Wilson, lived there with a relative.
The Charlotte County Sheriff's office said Wilson is still a suspect in Pilar's disappearance, and neighbors we talked to said they've always thought Pilar was buried in the field.
I've always felt like she was in that field because he lived right here," neighbor James Mccormick told me. "That's what he had access to and I just really felt like that's where she was."
The sheriff's office has searched this field before, but not as extensively as they did today.
