Speeding cars, a foggy two lane highway and little kids: A recipe for disaster.
Jennifer Cortes: "I'm scared that one of them is going to get hit...and I am the one standing here watching them and people are flying down the road and what am I supposed to do".
Small children wondering around a bus stop near Wilson Avenue and Goldengate Blvd. Where just a few feet away busy traffic zooms by.
Jody Crossman: "They go off the side of the road...kids can't stand that close..they have to be able to do something to make these kids a lot safer".
Parents wait in nearby cars to make sure their little ones board the bus safely. One bus driver we asked wasn't sure the stop was safe enough.
Rob: "Is this a safe bus stop?
Driver: "We have so many kids here about 20-25 kids.
Rob: "Is it safe though?"
Driver: (shrugs his shoulders) "I don't know".
The street has no warning signs about children...or even that a bus stop is in the area.

Parent: "They have to walk along the blvd to get to the bus stop if the parents don't drop them off...somebody is going to get killed".
The kids all know the rules there parents have told them.
Faith Davazano: "It's pretty close to the street so we have to play around here".
A make shift bench built by parents sits nearby but it's not enough. They want to see the school district and county do more to protect their kids.
