OVIEDO, Fla. (AP) - Five students received minor burns in a lab explosion at a central Florida high school which authorities say was alcohol-related.

The Seminole County Fire Department said the explosion happened Tuesday morning in a chemistry lab at Paul J. Hagerty High School in Oviedo.

Lt. Paula Ritchey says the alcohol-related fire gave the students minor burns. The students were treated and released at the scene.
