OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (AP) - Broward County authorities say a man was electrocuted while trying to knock mangos down from a tree.
According to Broward Sheriff's Office, 43-year-old Thanhkim Giang touched a 23-foot aluminum pole to a live wire while he was plucking down mangos from a tree Sunday morning. Authorities say Giang's 40-year-old wife was also shocked when she rushed to help him.
The couple was taken to a hospital, where Giang's wife was in stable condition Sunday afternoon.
