Woman charged with driving drunk with child in car

BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a Sarasota woman was driving under the influence with a child in the car.

Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports that 35-year-old Dannis Barrows pulled over for reckless driving in Bradenton Wednesday night. Deputies recorded her blood alcohol level at 0.216. The legal limit to drive is 0.08.

Barrows was charged with child neglect. She was being held on $20,000 bail.
