Afternoons will be on the wet side for the rest of this week, although some drier air in north Florida will mix in on Wednesday, making a bit less wet. The dominant wind will be easterly, so thunderstorms will likely develop over Glades and Hendry counties, then get more numerous closer to the coast in the later afternoon, thanks to a sea breeze that will try to develop.
The Tropics, for us, are quiet, with the remnants of Hermine in Texas, and the remnants of Gaston close to Puerto Rico, and not expected to get better organized anytime soon.
